Well Done — Wisconsin Rare & Unique Venues

It goes without saying that every planner strives to create an event that is memorable. And while an interesting menu or trendy lighting certainly helps, to make a lasting impression we recommend starting with a spot that’s out of the ordinary. Don’t know where to begin? We suggest you consider one of these distinctive Wisconsin venues:

DRAMATICALLY DIFFERENT

Fireside Dinner Theatre

What makes it different: Dinner and a show? You bet! Your guests will applaud the Fireside Dinner Theater’s gorgeous banquet rooms. For up to 800 guests, you’ll love the three-level dining room. For groups of up to 650, the theatre-in-the-round accommodates guests comfortably with main floor and balcony seating.

Why we love it: Since opening its doors in 1964, folks have flocked to this family-owned dinner theater for some of Wisconsin’s finest entertainment and regional fare. Enjoy quality productions along with a shopping adventure featuring three permanent gift shops and another seasonal one.

UP, UP & AWAY

EAA Aviation Center

What makes it different: Fly away to EAA Aviation Center. Bring your bunch out of the boardroom and watch them enjoy the Amazing Aviation Museum featuring nearly 100 aircraft, the Eagle Hanger which houses World War II aircraft, and the Museum Lobby with the magnificent “Tower of Aviation.”

Why we love it: Choose from fourteen one-of-a-kind spaces for groups of any size, including The Air Academy Lodge with 16 guest rooms, kitchen, and outdoor gazebo with fire pit; Fergus Plaza, a two-story re-creation of a 1930s aerodrome with stunning views; and the Leeward Plaza, an amazing outdoor space with room for up to 200 banquet guests.

YOU AUTO BE HERE

Road America

What makes it different: With one of the country’s longest road racing circuits, this world-acclaimed facility is situated on 640 grassy acres in the rolling, wooded hills of Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine. Offering programs for groups as small as 4 or as large as 10,000, Road America will work with you to create an outing that’s ideal for your group and budget.

Why we love it:  Fun, fast, and exciting adventures await your group at Road America. Some of the most popular Adventures include Karting, Geocaching, Off Road, Event Sampler, Driving, and Racing. If your group has the need for speed, then Road America is the place to be.

MAKE HISTORY

Milwaukee Public Museum

What makes it different: MPM is one of several major American museums established in the late 19th century. Guests can tour the Museum’s 150,000 square feet of exhibit space to view continents and habitats; visit the turn-of-the-century Streets of Old Milwaukee, European Village, or Mediterranean civilizations; or turn back time 65 million years to see one of the largest dinosaur skulls ever found.

Why we love it: Located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, MPM can host groups of any size, from 10 to 3500. You’ll find a six-story Dome Theater and Planetarium here, a Costa Rican Rain Forest, an African savanna, and much more. History comes alive at MPM.

UNFORGETTABLE

Milwaukee County War Memorial Center

What makes it different: Multiple spaces with extraordinary views of Lake Michigan and downtown Milwaukee make the Milwaukee County War Memorial Center an unforgettable venue for your event. Two meeting rooms offer space for up to 30, while the outdoor Fitch Plaza is one of the most sought-after spaces in the area with views of the lake, downtown Milwaukee, Discovery World, and the Milwaukee Art Museum.

Why we love it:   For larger groups of up to 260, Memorial Hall located on the third floor of the Center simply can’t be beat. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer sweeping views of the city. Local preferred caterers present gourmet and casual fare with exceptional service.

A WHOLE NEW BALLGAME

Events at Lambeau

What makes it different: This premier Wisconsin landmark offers an awe-inspiring place for your team. Fourteen distinctive spaces can accommodate most any size group. From the Atrium Floor for up to 400 with its dramatic four-story windows, to the intimate Lambeau Suite that comfortably seats 20, you’ll score big points when you book your next event at Lambeau Field.

Why we love it: You don’t have to be a Packer’s fan to love this place. Enjoy a game here, browse the Packer’s Pro Shop, take a stadium tour, visit the Green Bay Packer’s Hall of Fame, or enjoy a round at the 1919 Kitchen & Tap. Quite simply, there’s something here for everyone.

GO WHOLE HOG

Harley-Davidson Museum

What makes it different: Get ready to rumble at the Harley Davidson Museum. Set on 20 acres in downtown Milwaukee and surrounded on three sides by the Menomonee River, the Museum offers 17 spacious banquet halls, meeting rooms, and outdoor meeting places. Great for a gathering of 10 to 10,000 with customizable menus and legendary service.
