It’s been a challenging year for those of us in the meetings and events industry. As we enter Fall/Winter 2020-2021, it is time to take a fresh look at color and how it can impact your meetings. Put away those blush and tan swatches and immerse yourself in colors that reflect a new energy and emergence. Inspire attendees with fresh shades gathered from the world of fashion, décor and color experts.
Classic Blue
It is time to retire navy as a go-to color choice. Instead, embrace Classic Blue, a shade that has energy and electricity-exactly what attendees (whether virtual or actual) crave currently.
Ultramarine Green
A new color which popped up on many of the fall/winter runways, it reflects not only a sense of surprise, but an exciting color direction.
Celery
Once viewed as a “safe” home décor choice, this yellow-green tone reflected a cool brilliance during the Fall/Winter runways. It lends a botanical touch and pairs nicely with gray and black furniture.
Magenta
Bold and regal, magenta can be integrated into linens as well as floral, lighting and accessories.
Military Olive
The only “serious” color you will see reflected in this piece, it was widely seen on Fall/Winter runways, and now has a new intensity.
