Profile

Welcome to Denver, where 300 days of sunshine, a thriving cultural scene, diverse neighborhoods, and urban adventure combine for the world's best meeting destination. A vibrant outdoor city at the base of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Denver's stunning architecture, award-winning dining and unparalleled views help produce truly epic events.

And Denver is rapidly growing to meet your needs. Try these enhancements on for size:  a convention center expansion project, rail service from the airport to downtown, more international flights, hot new restaurants, and hundreds of additional hotel rooms.

Top 5 reasons to book your event in Denver, Colorado

1. Unique Venues, Colorado Twist. The upcoming Colorado Convention Center expansion will include up to 85,000 square feet of new flexible meeting space and 120,000 square feet of new pre-function and service space, including 50,000 square foot outdoor terrace with unobstructed Rocky Mountain views. Technology upgrades will bolster networking and streaming video components. Need an offsite venue? Red Rocks Park + Amphitheatre is on every music lover’s bucket list, and has also been the site of some truly memorable events. The venue will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2016.

2. Easy Accessibility. Denver has never been easier to get to with nonstop domestic flights throughout the United States and international nonstop flights, including Japan, Iceland and Mexico. Beginning May 2016, Lufthansa will provide nonstop service to Denver from Munich, Germany, which will open up new European markets, adding to recent service from Iceland, Japan and Mexico. Beginning April 22, 2016, a new commuter rail line will whisk attendees from Denver International Airport to Denver Union Station for just $9. The line will be an affordable and convenient way to drop attendees right into the heart of downtown in no time flat.

3. Denver’s Hotel Renaissance. There are more than 1,400 new hotel rooms in Denver, including a 230-room Marriott Renaissance (pictured), a 140-room Aloft Hotel, a recently opened 519-room Westin at Denver International Airport, a 361-room dual HYATT House/Hyatt Place, a new 165-room The Art hotel and a 200-room downtown Kimpton (2016). The 112-room Crawford Hotel recently opened inside the newly renovated Union Station, a historic train station converted into a transportation, dining, shopping and entertainment hub.

4. Walk to Everything. You don’t need a car in downtown Denver with so much to see and do within easy walking distance of its 10,000 downtown hotel rooms (by the end of 2017). Plus, there’s an abundance of alternative transportations, including the B-cycle bike share program that boasts more than 800 bikes available at 80 stations. Free shuttle buses stop on every corner of the mile-long 16th Street Mall, Denver’s major pedestrian promenade, making everything even easier to reach.

5. Denver’s Dining Scene. Two new restaurants were inspired by European food markets. Avanti F&B provides a choice of seven different restaurant concepts under one roof, while The Source has, among other things, a bakery, brewery, cheese shop and wood-fired restaurant. Guard and Grace is a top steakhouse just awarded AAA’s four-star rating. And don’t miss Larimer Square, the oldest street in Denver, with its historic Victorian brick buildings now transformed into restaurants and wine bars.
