metroConnections Announces ’08 Holiday Lights Tour Schedule

metroConnections announces its annual Holiday Lights Tour; an opportunity to celebrate community spirit and the warmth of the season with family and friends. Now in its 19th year, Holiday Lights Tours are made available to the public on two prime Saturdays before Christmas. Plan in advance as tickets go fast. The Holiday Lights Tour, an annual family tradition for many, travels through the colorful streets of the Twin Cities, and past the beautiful decorative lights of local merchants and residents. While aboard a warm deluxe motorcoach, a knowledgeable tour guide provides commentary on holiday traditions and local lore. Guests experience quiet residential neighborhoods as well as bustling city streets.

The 2008 dates are Saturdays December 13 and 20. All tours depart from Mall of America from the North Side Arrival/Departure Facility. Tours operate from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $28 per adult, $26 per seniors 55 and older, $20 per children ages 6 to 12.
