WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. - The owners of Wilderness Resort understand that in order to remain a tourism and hospitality leader in Wisconsin Dells, the resort must make providing outstanding customer service part of its daily mission. Because of this, they believe strongly in the two employee recognition programs they have in place to reward their top managers and staff for going the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction.
According to Joe Eck, general manager for Wilderness Resort, "There is no doubt that our guests love our property's amenities but if they don't receive the customer service they expect, you can be sure they won't be returning for a second visit. It's the little things our employees do to make a guest feel special that turn them into brand-loyal customers."
The Wilderness recently named Eric Borota its "2014 Manager of the Year" and Peggy Russell "2014 Employee of the Year" for their outstanding work and commitment to the resort. Besides receiving companywide recognition, both Borota and Russell received a voucher for a vacation from select destinations in the United States and abroad, as well as $1,000 spending money as a thank you for a job beyond well done.
