The Aug. 27 Xfinity Series event will be the Johnsonville 180 after Wisconsin-based Johnsonville Sausage increased its involvement from being a presenting sponsor, the track announced Wednesday.
Johnsonville has had a long connection to the 4-mile track in Elkhart Lake, both as a partner and … well … lunch.
The series has raced at Road America since 2010 with sponsorships from Bucyrus, Gardner Denver and Sargento — another local company — but the event has not had a title sponsor the past two seasons.
