MILWAUKEE – Potawatomi Bingo Casino has added a new fundraising component to its signature charitable program Miracle on Canal Street. For the first time, Casino guests will be able to purchase special Miracle food and drink items throughout the Casino’s restaurant venues to help support local charities across southeastern Wisconsin. A portion of sales from each item will be contributed to this year’s Miracle on Canal Street fund. Historically, Miracle funds are raised from designated bingo games played during every session from Aug. 15-Dec. 13.
“Miracle on Canal Street has improved the quality of life for thousands of area children for the past two decades,” said Potawatomi Bingo Casino Food & Beverage Director Don Sally. “The Food and Beverage Department is thrilled to get involved and help raise money for this superb cause.”
The Miracle food and drink specials are available Oct. 15 through Dec. 13 and feature a variety of delicious offerings, ranging from burgers to bubble tea. The Miracle items include:
Miracle Burger – Available in the Fire Pit Sports Bar & Grill, this double patty burger includes American cheese, pickles, lettuce and Thousand Island dressing. Served with fries, the price is $7 ($1 donated to Miracle).
Miracle Flatbread – Wild Earth Cucina Italiana, the Casino’s newest restaurant, will offer a prosciutto, pear and gorgonzola flatbread for $9 ($1 donated to Miracle).
Miracle Pina Colada Bubble Tea – One of the most popular drinks available at RuYi, the bubble tea includes tapioca “pearls” at the bottom and is priced at $5.50 (50 cents donated to Miracle).
Miracle Mushroom & Swiss Combo – The Menomonee Valley Food Court will offer guests a mushroom & Swiss burger, fries and soda for $7.50 (50 cents donated to Miracle).
In addition, a Miracle drink special on 16 oz. aluminum bottles of Budweiser and Bud Light begins Nov. 1, with 50 cents from each purchase donated to the Miracle fund.
Since its inception in 1994, Miracle on Canal Street has contributed more than $11.5 million to over 375 non-profit organizations. Last year, nearly $1 million was raised and shared among 30 children’s charities in southeastern Wisconsin.
