Meet Minneapolis has selected “Metropolitan by Nature” as the foundation of an upcoming brand-marketing campaign to promote Minneapolis as a travel destination.
That brand platform was picked following several months of brainstorming and consumer research. The goal was to create a consistent theme for all of the city’s marketing that sets Minneapolis apart from competitors such as Denver, Kansas City, Milwaukee and St. Louis.
Metropolitan by Nature is that theme, though it won’t be the campaign tag line. A slogan and logo will be unveiled next Thursday at a press conference featuring Mayor R.T. Rybak and Meet Minneapolis officials.
