Marcus Hotels & Resorts has completed its $11.5 million multi-phase renovation of the Hilton Milwaukee City Center. The hotel, which has been operating at 509 W. Wisconsin Ave since 1929, received renovations to its guestrooms, lobby area, public spaces, fitness center and more. “The goal of the renovation was to provide our guests with a new design and all of the modern amenities they desire, while still keeping with the original art deco style of the hotel,” says Steve Magnuson, vice president and general manager of Hilton Milwaukee. “We think guests will appreciate the changes we’ve made, both aesthetically and in terms of functionality.”
The hotel has been extensively restored to reflect its original 1920s grandeur and renovated to incorporate modern technology to accommodate guests’ present-day needs. The hotel has an onsite technology partner standing by to assist guests with event planning and production support of all types, including audio, projection, staging, lighting, Internet and any other technical needs.
Hilton Milwaukee City Center has more than 34,000 square feet, including four ballrooms and 18 meeting rooms of various sizes.
