Fox Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau launches new program
The Fox Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau is launching a new program to encourage local residents and business professionals to recommend their hometown as a site for professional, civic, recreational meetings or events.
“The Fox Cities has successfully hosted events, meetings and conferences where a local member of the organization has wanted to showcase their hometown, said Scott Biggar, direction of convention sales. “Our Bring It Home campaign is designed to provide an opportunity to assist organization members in the planning, booking and coordinating of these events in the Fox Cities and in the process, boost the local economy by generating more visitor spending.”
The bureau is looking for meetings, conventions and events that will produce at least 50 hotel room nights and have not been held in the Fox Cities in the last three years.
