Country Inns & Suites By Carlson(SM), Inc. has announced a new opportunity for travelers that will serve two needs. The hotel chain has teamed with Minneapolis-based "Feed Them with Music" to make available two custom CD collections specifically designed to enhance the road trip experience. The sale of each CD will raise funds to provide ten hot meals to aid hungry children throughout the world. Country Inns & Suites and Feed Them With Music hope to feed up to 20,000 children through this campaign.
The CD's are available for purchase at the front desk of selected Country Inn & Suites hotels. These great collections feature celebrated artists and are available for only $6.99 each.
These collections are a great way for travelers to enjoy their time on the road and also help alleviate hunger," said Steve Mogck, executive vice president of Franchise Operations for Carlson Hotels Worldwide, including Country Inns & Suites By Carlson. "These CDs feature beautiful music that can be enjoyed by the whole family. The enjoyment of the music is made even more meaningful by knowing that this purchase is helping children in need."
Beginning in 2007, its first year of operation, "Feed Them with Music" has provided more than 50,000 meals worldwide. The charity was founded by Paul Frantzich, one of the Brothers Frantzich, a traveling sacred-folk duo. The company's vision is to "feed souls with songs and bodies with meals."
