American Club named top Midwestern resort by Conde Nast Traveler

Conde Nast Traveler has named The American Club in Kohler as the top resort in the Midwest.

The Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake also made the magazine’s list of top five resorts in the Midwest as ranked by readers for 2013. Last year, The American Club ranked third on the list.

The magazine named The Iron Horse Hotel in Milwaukee as the number three hotel in the Midwest this year. Carriage House, a hotel at The American Club, was ranked fourth.

The Kohler-owned Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa in St. Andrews, Scotland, was named 15th in the list of best resorts in Europe.
