Ruttger’s hires Group Sales Manager

Deerwood, Minn. – February 20, 2020 – Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge has hired experienced salesperson Alisha Stevens as its new Group Sales Manager, resort officials announced.

Stevens will be responsible for generating new corporate and group business, including conventions,
retreats, weddings, family reunions and other events. Her first day at Ruttger’s was February 3.

“I am extremely excited and humbled to be joining a resort with such a strong brand and long
tradition of excellence,” Stevens said. “I was drawn to the job by the opportunity to work in a family
like environment and be part of the Aitkin and Cuyuna Lakes community.”

Stevens brings more than 20 years of hospitality industry experience to the job, including retail, golf
club management, and corporate and college dining. Most recently, she was employed as the
Corporate Area Manager for Bite Squad in Minneapolis, where she worked for more than four years
developing the Minneapolis Market for Bite Squad Corporate Catering.

Her career highlights include serving for three years on the Minnesota Board of Directors for the
National Concierge Association where she was awarded "Board Member of the Year" in 2017 and
2019. She also worked as an Owner Liaison for Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis in 2018 where she
created new relationships with the National Football League and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Stevens was born and raised in Blaine, Minn., but developed a love for the area when her family
bought a cabin in Aitkin in 2014. In her free time, you will find her on the lake fishing, camping with
her husband or enjoying the Bold North with her family and friends.
