restaurant Max Now Open In Downtown Minneapolis

restaurant Max, the new urban, chic restaurant in downtown Minneapolis, is now open.  Located adjacent to The Hotel Minneapolis on the corner of 2nd Avenue South and 4th Street South in the former Midland Building, restaurant Max management and culinary pros have laid careful plans to offer diners a fresh, sophisticated, new experience in the metro area dining scene.

atmosphere and service to the freshness and flavor, from the number of choices to the originality of our playful food presentations. At restaurant Max, we call it ‘lifestyle cuisine,’ and it’s our commitment to offering our active diners whatever they’re looking for at that moment, whether it’s a formal business dinner for 12 or a romantic meal for two.”

Executive Chef Matthew Holmes has been working in conjunction with Morrissey
Hospitality Companies’ Culinary Team, including Pazzaluna’s Executive Master Chef Rino Baglio and Wildside Caterers Executive Chef Michael Harper, to create Max’s lunch, dinner, bar and beverage menus. restaurant Max’s original salads, soups, flatbreads, entrees, specials, pastas, risottos, and desserts offer original yet approachable options with a focus on fresh, local ingredients. While the menus offer a wide range of choices, the food, portions, and beverage selections are all designed to support the guest’s situation, whether it is a business lunch, a dinner celebration, a time to share with friends, or a thoughtful meal alone.

Continuing the theme of maximum flexibility, guests will be able to dine in a variety of seating arrangements, from free-standing tables and banquette-style seating options to one of four private and semi-private seating areas, able to accommodate groups of six to 80 people. restaurant Max and its bar will seat 194 people.

restaurant Max will be open for lunch daily from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will be open for dinner from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Bar will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, offering a food menu until 12 a.m. On Fridays and Saturdays, the Bar will be open from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m., offering a food menu until 1 a.m. restaurant Max is located in downtown Minneapolis at street level with an entrance at 2nd Avenue South and 4th Street South as well as a dedicated skyway stairway entrance and an entrance through the lobby of the adjacent Hotel Minneapolis. Valet parking will be available on 4th Street South. Both the restaurant and the hotel are managed by Morrissey Hospitality Companies.
