Potawatomi casino adds second tower

Casino expansion continues in Milwaukee where officials, construction crews and other backers of an $80 million project adding a second tower at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino held a “topping-off ceremony” last week.
The Thursday event marked the transition from exterior to interior construction at the 180,000 square foot project.
The second hotel tower at the casino is being connected to the 19-story, 381-room hotel tower that was built at the casino in 2014. The expansion will create 119 additional rooms and suites, a spa and meeting space.
The new structure is expected to open in the spring of 2019 and is being built without financial assistance from the city of Milwaukee.
Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, formerly Potawatomi Bingo Casino, is a Native American casino in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, owned and operated by the Forest County Potawatomi Community. It began operations in March 7, 1991.
