Kimpton Claret Hotel Opens in Denver's Belleview Station

The 190-room property in the Colorado capital's growing neighborhood features a rooftop bar and 10,000 square feet of meeting space.

A new-build from IHG Hotels & Resorts' luxury and lifestyle portfolio, the 190-room Kimpton Claret Hotel has debuted in South Denver's growing Belleview Station neighborhood.

“We are excited to open our doors as the first lifestyle boutique hotel in this area,” said general manager Keith Siebenaler. “Belleview Station is a destination on the rise, as it is perfectly located between Downtown Denver, the South Denver corridor and Cherry Creek State Park, and really capitalizes on the live, work, play trend in development. Our location in this vibrant neighborhood positions us to become a cultural hub for locals, frequent visitors and newcomers to the area.”

The design of the hotel juxtaposes several elements throughout, such as chunky knits and supple leather, warm woods and cool metals, and textural plaster and smooth stone. With natural materials as the foundation, the property has been filled with custom furniture and curated art.

Modern rooms and a cozy restaurant

The guest rooms' look is intentionally minimal in grays, beige and cream combined with warm accents, such as textural wool throws, and striking artwork. Large windows frame the cityscape and the mountains.

Saverina, the ground-floor, all-day restaurant, offers Italian-inspired cuisine created with sustainable, local and organic ingredients. Executive chef Christian Graves’s menus feature sourdough pizzas, house-made pastas and vegetable-centric starters. The comfortable aesthetic is open and airy, with a display kitchen, large windows, high ceilings and street-front views.

Up on the 19th floor, Halo Rooftop Bar aims to drive the local and visitor social scene with crafted cocktails, bar fare designed with a "food-in-hand" approach for sharing and snacking, a robust live-music schedule, and panoramic Rocky Mountain views. The bar's indoor and outdoor space accommodates events, and the terrace features numerous fire pits with lounge seating.

Kimpton Claret Hotel offers 10,000 square feet of meeting space that can host groups of up to 250, and includes two ballrooms, a boardroom, prefunction space and a terrace. Saverina provides catering for all business events.
