There’s a new hotel project in the works for downtown Minneapolis at the corner of Eighth Street North and First Avenue South, near the First Avenue nightclub.
The Star Tribune, which had few details about the project, reported that development includes a 210-room Hampton Inn & Suites.
Minneapolis-based ESG Architects will present preliminary plans to the Downtown Minneapolis Neighborhood Association on Tuesday night, the newspaper reported.
Minneapolis-based Mortenson Construction is reportedly serving as the developer for the project, and a Mortenson spokesman declined to disclose to the Star Tribune how much the project will cost.
