Leaders in Jefferson said they expect tens of thousands of people to walk through their doors during a three-day grand opening celebration.
People started lining up at 10 a.m. Friday. The first 200 guests received a commemorative silver coin.
The facility also has an events center, a sports bar and grill, an Iowa store and a hotel.
Wild Rose leaders said the big draw for the grand opening are two concerts from “The Gambler” himself, Kenny Rogers, Friday and Saturday night. Both concerts have sold out.
Some residents said the casino brings an entertainment venue to the area unlike any they've ever seen before.
"It's a good place to come. Something fun to do for some entertainment in this area. Don't have to drive all the way to Council Bluffs," said Janet Kluver, of Deloit.
Gov. Terry Branstad and Sen. Chuck Grassley will also be at the casino for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
