Hard Rock Cafe to Return to the Twin Cities

A popular restaurant and entertainment chain will return to the Twin Cities after a three-year hiatus.

The Hard Rock Cafe has posted job openings on its website, saying the restaurant will open at the Mall of America in Summer of 2014.

Hard Rock Cafe's exact location at the Bloomington megamall isn't clear, but the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal says it will wrap around part of the the mall's Nickelodeon Universe amusement park.

Orlando-based Hard Rock Cafe International Inc. has 175 locations in 55 countries. Those locations include restaurants, hotels, casinos and live music venues.

Hard Rock has job postings for general manager, restaurant operations manager and kitchen manager on its corporate website. The general manager job posting asks for live music experience.

The restaurant chain, which had a prominent location in Minneapolis for nine years at the city's Block E retail center.
