WAUSAU (WAOW) -- The moving process is finally over for the Central Wisconsin Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Today was the grand opening ceremony at their new downtown location .
The Bureau moved from their former location near the Cedar Creek Mall earlier this year because they had out grown their previous building.
Bureau leaders say they're excited about being able to focus more on Wausau area visitors.
"We helped a lot of people that were on their way to other places. We didn't have a problem serving that role, but being downtown the visitors we will help are looking for things to do in the Wausau area. We can encourage them to explore all the communities that make up the Wausau area," says Darien Schaefer, Executive Director of the CVB.
Employee's have been in the new building since July but today marks it's opening to the public.
