Four Seasons Hotel Denver Set to Open in Fall 2010

Opening this fall, the 239-room Hotel is located where Denver’s theatre and business districts meet at the edge of the Lower Downtown "LoDo" neighbourhood. It offers the city’s most desirable location for meetings and events, its newest dining and social hotspot, sleek and contemporary accommodations, and a resort-style rooftop pool and spa oasis, all with
sweeping views of the city and mountains beyond.

“As a new resident of Denver, I’m continually discovering the many personalities of this incredible city,” notes Thierry Kennel, general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Denver. “Denver
has a chic urban cultural and culinary scene, high-energy business community, passionate sports fans, and jam-packed social calendar – and Four Seasons Hotel Denver will be at the heart of it all.”

Destination: Denver

Known as the Mile High city due to its elevation above sea level, Denver stands at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, positioning it as both a central destination and a gateway to the state’s mountain resorts and other urban destinations. With 200 city parks and 300 days of sunshine each year, it’s a city that beckons one outdoors. With its lively performing arts scene, 10 professional sports teams, the famed Denver Zoo, trendy boutiques and shopping, a variety of al fresco dining, and the nearby Colorado Convention Center, Denver is a premier destination and Four Seasons Hotel Denver is the ideal choice for travellers and locals alike to experience the region.

For the first time ever, Denverites and visitors to the region will experience the dedicated,
personalised service that Four Seasons is renowned for the world over. Whether it’s a romantic
weekend stay, an important business meeting, a family adventure that takes in the zoo and a
game, or the simple pleasures of an afternoon of spa and poolside relaxation, every detail is
anticipated by the Hotel’s team, comprised of more than 250 staff members. And for those who
choose Four Seasons as their permanent address, 102 Residences offer a relaxed pied-à-terre,
fully serviced by Four Seasons staff.

Denver’s Newest Culinary Destination

With its prime location on Arapahoe Street, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor
patio, the Restaurant and bar at Four Seasons Hotel Denver will be the city’s newest see-andbe-
seen social destination. Executive Chef Simon Purvis and his team are spending the
summer hunting down local sources of seasonal ingredients and preparing for the steakhouse
restaurant’s opening. Menus will be complemented by selections of local microbrews and
interesting varietals from Colorado’s local wineries, with many wines offered by the glass.

An Oasis of Wellness, Relaxation and Fitness

Denver was recently named one of America’s top 10 fittest cities by the American College of
Sport Medicine and Shape magazine. Four Seasons Hotel Denver will help travellers stay in
shape on the road at the 2,500-square-foot (232-square-metre) Fitness Centre, which
showcases views of the outdoor pool terrace through floor-to-ceiling windows. A separate
movement studio offering yoga and other fitness classes will also be available to guests.

Travellers and locals alike will also have access to a full-service, destination spa. The Spa at
Four Seasons Hotel Denver will offer more than 9,000 square feet (836 square metres)
dedicated to healing and rejuvenation therapies in 10 gemstone-themed treatment rooms.

The third-floor Fitness Centre and Spa open up to an urban rooftop playground, with an
inviting pool and whirlpool, plush deckchairs and Four Seasons attendants offering light fare
and cocktails. Lush landscaping will feature more than 60 indigenous trees, including aspen,
juniper and pear. The pool edging and steps will be made of Colorado buff sandstone for a
slightly rustic, natural feel. Seasonal flowers will complete the landscape.

The Spa will be open to Hotel guests and residents, as well as day visitors, who will also have
access to the Pool when booking spa services.
The Place Where Denver Will Come Together

Conveniently located on a single floor of the Hotel, 17,000 square feet (1,579 square metres) of
meetings and event spaces are now available for booking at Four Seasons Hotel Denver, and
can be used for business functions, parties and social events, such as weddings and charity
galas. The 5,200-square-foot (483-square-metre) Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 350
people and features a large pre-function space, while the more intimate Cottonwood Room can
accommodate up to 240 people, and a series of smaller rooms are ideal for up to 90 people.

For something completely different, Four Seasons invites event attendees to step outside onto
the Hotel’s third-floor landscaped pool deck for an open-air reception. Those who desire a
more private space may book the third-floor Executive Boardroom, discreetly removed from
the main function spaces and public areas of the Hotel.

Four Seasons Private Residences

“If only we could live here” is the often-heard sigh of guests leaving Four Seasons at the end of
their stay – but now people in Denver actually can. The Hotel’s highest floors have been
reserved for Four Seasons Private Residences, which include 102 one- to four-bedroom homes,
each fully appointed with kitchens, baths and living areas with panoramic city and mountain
views. The best part? Residents have full access to all the facilities, services and staff of Four
Seasons Hotel Denver, including housekeeping and valet; use of the Spa, Fitness Centre and
Pool; signing privileges at the Hotel’s restaurant; and a dedicated concierge.

More to Come in Colorado

Visitors can soon look forward to experiencing all that Colorado has to offer in Four Seasons
style, as Four Seasons Hotel Denver prepares to welcome its new sister property, Four Seasons
Resort Vail, just a two-hour drive away.
