This is the second BEST WESTERN PREMIER® branded hotel to open in Wisconsin. Speaking at the grand opening of the hotel Rich Batley, operating partner for both the BEST WESTERN PREMIER Bridgewood Resort Hotel and Conference Center and the new property in Oshkosh, was asked why he chose to open two BEST WESTERN PREMIER branded properties, “I am a big believer in quality and expect to offer my customers the best property in a market. I believe that the BEST WESTERN PREMIER brand represents that upscale hotel experience and amenities that I want my hotels to be known for and my customers to experience.”
Nestled on the banks of the Fox River in downtown Oshkosh, the hotel features 176 rooms with scenic views of the river and Lake Winnebago. The hotel is connected to the Oshkosh Convention Center which has an additional 18,000 square feet of flexible function space. Hotel amenities include free Wi-Fi, an indoor heated pool, spa, exercise facility and a staffed business center. Guests and locals alike will enjoy dining in the hotel’s full-service Ground Round at Rivers Edge Bar and Grill, serving a menu of American-style cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or relaxing on the outdoor patio for cocktails.
“We are proud to join the Best Western brand and look forward to serving our guests and being an active member of our community. Whether our guests are staying with us for business or leisure, we look forward to providing a superior guest experience and exceeding their expectations with our friendly service and luxury amenities,” said general manager, Dan Schetter.

“The BEST WESTERN PREMIER Waterfront Hotel & Convention Center marks the 24 BEST WESTERN PREMIER to open in North America,” said Mark Williams, vice president of North American Development. “We have several other BEST WESTERN PREMIER properties opening in the next few months including in New York City and Quebec.
